The story behind the creation of Sacred Market.
1. In the darkness
Twenty-five years of running away from myself and fear, through the darkest valleys - substances, broken relationships, illness that brought me to a fight for life and took the other side.
2. Fighting for the light
After cancer crushed me like a huge rock from the sky and showed the other side, I died (literally, I was rescuing at the local hospital). Died to be reborn again. But why?
3. Finding the light
Swimming through the ocean of pain by chasing excellence in technology for 30 years then dying, left me broken. I was looking for a light and I found it in Peru, where shamans and community brought me to life. Woke me up from a dream!
4. Bearing the light
I'm building Sacred Market for the version of me at the rock bottom, desperately searching for help but not knowing even where and who to search.
Because I remember what it's like to search alone in the dark. And I remember the grace of waking up and finding real me.
